Job Description: You are an experienced Appium Mobile Automation Tester who will be joining the QA team for a hybrid role in Bangalore, Hyderabad, or Pune. Your responsibilities will include developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Appium (Java/Python), automating and validating Android and iOS applications, designing and implementing mobile automation frameworks, integrating automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines, performing API testing, working with cloud-based mobile testing platforms, debugging automation test failures, logging defects, and participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Appium (Java/Python). - Automate and validate Android and iOS applications using frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber. - Design and implement mobile automation frameworks for scalable test execution. - Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). - Perform API testing using Postman or RestAssured. - Work with cloud-based mobile testing platforms like BrowserStack, SauceLabs, or AWS Device Farm. - Debug automation test failures, log defects in JIRA, and work with developers for issue resolution. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Required Skills: - 4+ years of experience in Mobile Automation Testing using Appium (Android & iOS). - Strong hands-on experience with Appium and Selenium WebDriver for automation. - Experience with Java/Python for automation scripting. - Knowledge of mobile automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, XCUITest). - Expertise in ADB commands, iOS debugging tools (Xcode, XCTest), and mobile app debugging. - Experience working with Git/GitHub/GitLab for version control. - Strong understanding of CI/CD automation and its integration with test suites. - Experience in API testing (Postman, RestAssured). - Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). Preferred Skills: - Experience with cloud-based device farms (AWS Device Farm, SauceLabs, BrowserStack). - Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner). - Basic understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices. - ISTQB or relevant QA certifications (preferred). Education & Certifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
