Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Faculty Member to lead and teach our upcoming Fashion Design and SMO Training Programs. The ideal candidate should be passionate about teaching, experienced in garment construction and fashion design, and capable of handling both theory and practical sessions. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging classroom and practical sessions on: • Pattern Making • Garment Construction (Traditional & Western) • Fashion Illustration • Textile Studies • Colour Theory • Hand Embroidery (20 basic stitches) • Boutique Management • Portfolio Development • Train students in operating industrial sewing machines • Plan lessons and activities aligned with the course curriculum • Guide students in theme/mood/specification board creation • Provide regular feedback and mentorship to students • Coordinate with the center manager for resources, progress, and evaluation • Prepare students for exhibitions, assessments, and certification Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile Diploma or Degree in Fashion Design or related field Minimum 2 years of teaching/training experience in Fashion Design or tailoring/sewing preferred Strong practical knowledge in pattern making and garment construction Proficiency in sketching, fabric identification, and embroidery Basic knowledge of boutique management and fashion portfolio development Familiarity with classroom management and adult training methodology Preferred Skills: Good communication skills (Hindi/Marathi preferred) Empathetic and approachable teaching style Ability to motivate and work with first-generation learners Organizational and planning abilities Willingness to contribute to outreach and promotional activities
