As an API Integration Developer at Hyperproof, your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining integrations with third-party services using web APIs. You will collaborate closely with the Product team to refine integration requirements based on customer needs and service API capabilities. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring that integrations are secure, scalable, and efficient, monitoring integration performance, troubleshooting and resolving integration issues, and developing and maintaining automated tests for integrations. Additionally, you will contribute to enhancing the SDK by providing valuable feedback and suggestions to improve its functionality and user-friendliness. Your focus will be on continuously monitoring and enhancing integration solutions and SDK capabilities to meet the needs of the platform and its customers. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain integrations with third-party services using web APIs. - Collaborate with the Product team to refine integration requirements based on customer needs. - Ensure integrations are secure, scalable, and efficient. - Monitor integration performance and optimize as needed. - Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues and bugs. - Develop and maintain automated tests for integrations. - Contribute to enhancing the SDK by providing feedback and suggestions. - Continuously monitor and enhance integration solutions and SDK capabilities. Qualifications Required: - 1+ years of experience as an API, Integration, or Backend Developer. - 2+ years of experience building proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript. - Demonstrated expertise in RESTful APIs and JSON. - Proven ability to solve complex software engineering and coding problems. - Professional level of English language proficiency. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Familiarity with Agile software development practices. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. - Demonstrated focus on quality and thorough testing, including unit testing. Preferred Skills: - Experience with SQL relational databases and SQL queries. - Basic knowledge of GraphQL APIs.
