API Development Team Lead

You are an experienced API Development Team Lead with over 10 years of expertise in designing, developing, and leading API-driven initiatives. Your main responsibility will be to lead a team of developers, architects, and engineers to build scalable, secure, and efficient APIs that support the business objectives. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, understand business needs, and translate them into technical requirements for seamless integration across platforms. Your duties will include team management and leadership where you will lead, mentor, and support API developers, allocate tasks, set milestones, and monitor project progress. Additionally, you will oversee the design, development, and deployment of APIs, defining and enforcing standards for API versioning, error handling, and documentation, ensuring adherence to security and compliance standards like OAuth and JWT. Collaboration and communication are key aspects of your role as you work with stakeholders such as product managers, frontend/backend teams, and DevOps to align on requirements and integration strategies, acting as a technical liaison for API consumers, whether internal or external. You will establish best practices for API development, testing, and deployment, evaluate and implement tools for API management like Postman, Swagger, and Apigee. Monitoring API performance using tools like New Relic or DataDog, resolving bottlenecks, and debugging issues to ensure system reliability are essential tasks. You will also define the roadmap for API development in alignment with organizational goals, staying updated on emerging trends and recommending new technologies. Key Skills & Qualifications: - Minimum 6+ Years of Experience in .NET - 5+ Years of Experience in MS SQL - 5+ Years of Experience in React and others - Proficiency in ASP .Net, Web forms, C#, .Net 4.0, VB.net, MVC, AJAX, JQuery, Web Services, Angular JS This is a full-time position located in Mumbai, requiring in-person work during day shifts.,
