API Architects

As an API Architect in Sydney, your role will involve: - Designing and Developing API proxies using Apigee Edge. - Designing API proxies from existing Soap or Rest services. - Being responsible for the Solution Architecture for the API platform and API on-boarding. - Having experience in creating custom message policies using Java. - Having a strong understanding of Soap and Restful services. - Understanding various security policies like BasicAuth, oAuth, WSSE token, etc. - Understanding API management life cycle components such as creating environments, virtual hosts, api proxies, cache, products, and publishing it to the portal. - Configuring various security policies for the APIs. - Designing and pushing APIs(YAML) using API Designer. - Creating custom policies using gateway scripts or DP processing rules and configuring message Assemblies. - Understanding API management life cycle like publishing/deprecating/superseding API products. - Creating processing rules using XMLT and Gateway Scripts. - Testing the services using SoapUI or Postman tools. - Handling Apigee installation and configuration. - Demonstrating good communication skills and Experience with Agile development.
