Junior Admission Counselor/Telecaller Location: Apeejay Stya University, Sohna Palwal Road, Gurgaon, Haryana Summary of Job : Responsible for influencing potential students to enrol in the programs offered by the university by giving them correct & complete information about the programs and admissions. Candidate will be responsible to source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve targets and will play a key role in increasing admissions, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales. Job Responsibilities Meet personal and team admission targets using various customer sales methods (Inbound, Referrals, Outbound, presentations, networking etc). Contact potential students to inform them about relevant program using scripts to provide information about program features and their benefits. Cold call prospects using a given database to enrol students and ensuring updating the details in the CRM Ask pertinent questions to understand the students requirements and evaluate potential students skills, needs and build productive long lasting relationships Research accounts, generate or follow through leads Attend meeting, events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments Maintain and expand student database within your assigned territory/school Adherence of the sales/ admission process from plan to closure. Implementing all BDL activities for the Institute Create frequent reviews and reports with sales data Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections Collaborate with team to achieve better results Job Knowledge (Prerequisite) Proven counselling and BD experience Track record of over-achieving targets Experience working with admission CRM is a plus Familiarity with different sales/counselling techniques and pipeline management Skill Set : Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Computer use competency Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills Fast learner and passion for sales Self-motivated with a results-driven approach Availability to travel as needed Education Qualification : Graduation in any field.
