Provide functional inputs to Aparna Management to ensure standardization of Safety Health Environment practices across the organization and support Head-Execution with respect to the Safety Health Environment activities across the organization. Survey the environment to keep abreast of industry trends, best practices and changes in the regulatory framework. Develop appropriate strategies to address / incorporate the same in Aparna Constructions. Develop Safety Health Environment Management System, Safety Health Environment Rules and Regulations and Safe Work Practice for the project and monitor its implementation and compliance. Make rules for the disciplinary action in case of any defaults by Employees or sub contractor’s personnel. Prepare project specific Safety Health Environment plan in coordination with the concerned Dept. Heads. Organize trainings (induction and regular) at sites to establish safe and healthy working conditions at Aparna. Monitor the records and compliance of the Maintenance Regime for Construction Equipment and machinery; Advice the supervisor on the upkeep of the equipment or machinery, which is due for inspection. Compile and maintain Safety Health Environment statistics and present Safety Health Environment Performance Report to the Head Execution Review the Method Statements and Risk Assessment and suggest improvement or any safety requirement, which needs to be incorporated into the above. Inspect that the respective Engineer applies the approved method statements and safety controls stipulated in the Risk Assessments during the execution of the work. Site inspection to determine risk / violation or non- compliance as per Aparna’ssafety standards or statutory norms at the site and report on necessary corrective measures. Investigate any fatal accident and / or dangerous occurrence, which occurs withinthe site and any industrial disease, contracted in the site. Manage and controlsituation arising during an emergency. Continuously review the emergency procedure and update accordingly. Conduct risk assessment and suggest improvement or any safety requirement. Ensure adherence to safety measures during project execution by the project team.
