Apar India is a growing manufacturer specializing in Tool & Cutter Grinding Machines, Fixtures, and Special Purpose Machines for the cutting tool and automotive industry. We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Machinists to join our production team. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain manual and/or CNC machines such as milling machines, surface grinders, lathes, and drill presses. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job instructions. Perform precision machining of metal parts and components to tight tolerances. Set up machines with correct tools, fixtures, feeds, and speeds. Inspect and measure finished workpieces using precision instruments (e.g., micrometers, Verniers, dial indicators). Ensure quality and dimensional accuracy of parts produced. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Collaborate with engineers and supervisors for continuous improvement and problem-solving. Required Skills & QualificationsITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related trade. Hands-on experience with grinding, milling, turning, and fitting operations. Strong understanding of machining principles, tools, and materials. Familiarity with tolerances, GD&T, and quality standards. Ability to work independently and read engineering drawings accurately. Commitment to precision, safety, and efficiency. Preferred Qualifications Experience with tool room machinery or SPMs. Exposure to fixture assembly and testing.
