We are seeking a reliable and skilled Electric Scooter Mechanic to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of electric scooters to ensure safe and efficient operation. This role is critical to keeping our vehicles on the road and delivering a great user experience. Key Responsibilities: Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electric scooters (mechanical, electrical, and software components). Perform routine maintenance including brake adjustments, tire replacements, battery checks, and firmware updates. Maintain accurate records of repairs, part usage, and service history. Use diagnostic tools and mobile applications to identify issues and calibrate scooter systems. Follow safety standards and company procedures for handling batteries and other electronic components. Collaborate with the operations team to prioritize repairs and rotate vehicles in and out of service. Ensure work areas and tools are clean, organized, and maintained. Identify recurring issues and report them to technical leads or manufacturers as needed. Assist with the deployment and collection of scooters, if required. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus. 1+ years of experience in a mechanical, electrical, or automotive repair role preferred. Familiarity with electric vehicles or micromobility devices is a strong advantage. Basic understanding of electronics, batteries, wiring, and small motors. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Comfortable using mobile apps and software for diagnostics and tracking work. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions. Valid driver’s license (if vehicle transport is part of the role).
