**Location:** Remote-friendly, India **Type:** Full-time --- ### About Anyo Anyo is a wellness startup helping employees and young professionals improve sleep, manage stress, and build healthier daily habits through a mobile-first experience. --- ### The Role We’re looking for a React Native Engineer to help build and evolve our main customer app. You’ll work in a modern React Native / TypeScript stack and collaborate closely with product and design to ship reliable, well-structured code to production. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys clean architecture, good patterns, and stable builds as much as UI polish. --- ### Tech Environment You’ll be working in a stack that includes: * React Native with Expo * TypeScript in a fully typed codebase * React Navigation / Expo Router for routing and navigation flows * Zustand (or similar) for state management * React Query (or similar) for data fetching, caching, and mutations * API/service abstraction layers instead of calling HTTP directly from components * Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics) * Push notifications and background handling * Analytics tooling (e.g., PostHog or similar) * Crash reporting and monitoring (e.g., Sentry or similar) * Modern tooling for performance, logging, and build workflows (CI/CD, OTA updates, etc.) --- ### Responsibilities * Build and maintain screens, components, and flows in React Native + TypeScript. * Follow and improve existing patterns for: * State management (Zustand or equivalent) * Data fetching (React Query or equivalent) * Navigation and deep linking * API/service abstractions * Integrate with REST/JSON APIs and Firebase services through well-structured service layers. * Implement analytics events and screen tracking in a consistent, maintainable way. * Ensure good performance on both Android and iOS (lists, rendering, memory usage). * Handle platform-specific issues and native integrations where required. * Contribute to app stability through proper error handling, logging, and crash monitoring. * Participate in code reviews, refactoring, and documentation to keep the codebase clean and understandable. --- ### Must-Have Skills * 1-3 years of experience building production React Native applications. * Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills. * Solid understanding of React patterns (hooks, context, component composition). * Experience with: * Navigation (React Navigation / Expo Router or similar) * At least one state management library (Zustand, Redux, MobX, etc.) * A data-fetching library (React Query, SWR, Apollo, etc.) * Familiarity with Firebase or similar BaaS (Auth, database, messaging, analytics). * Experience debugging and shipping on both Android and iOS. * Ability to read existing code, follow patterns, and improve them rather than reinventing everything. * Clear communication and comfort working with a small, fast-moving team. --- ### Nice-to-Have * Experience with performance optimization in React Native (lists, animations, bundle size). * Experience with analytics tools (PostHog, Amplitude, Mixpanel, etc.). * Exposure to mobile CI/CD (Fastlane, EAS, Bitrise, GitHub Actions, etc.). * Experience with push notifications, deep linking, and app lifecycle handling. * Interest in wellness, health-tech, or consumer mobile products. --- ### Why Join Anyo * Work on a product in the wellness space with real impact on people’s day-to-day lives. * Own meaningful parts of a core mobile app instead of tiny isolated features. * Join a small, focused team where your decisions and code matter. --- ### How To Apply Send us: * Your resume to ramya.raman@anyo.app & pragadeesh.waran@anyo.app * GitHub / portfolio links * Links to any React Native apps you’ve worked on (store links or repos) And add a short note on one technical problem you solved in a mobile app that you’re proud of (could be performance, architecture, build setup, or debugging something nasty).
