We are looking for a proactive and student-focused Academic Counselor to guide prospective and enrolled students in making informed educational decisions. The counselor will provide personalized academic support, career advice, and enrollment assistance to help students choose suitable courses based on their interests and goals. Key Responsibilities: Counsel students (in-person, phone, or online) about available courses, career paths, and education plans Understand student needs and recommend suitable programs Assist students with the admission process, documentation, and enrollment Maintain follow-up communication with students for course selection and fee payment Conduct webinars/seminars/tele-counseling sessions to generate leads Meet targets for student admissions, conversions, and revenue (if applicable) Keep accurate records of counseling sessions and enrollment progress Coordinate with faculty, admin, and marketing teams to support students Provide updates to management on admissions status and student feedback Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Strong interpersonal, communication, and persuasion skills Familiarity with education systems, competitive exams, or e-learning platforms Good computer and CRM/database management skills Fluency in English (plus regional language if required)
