Job Description: As a Storyboarding Artist at our company located in Amritapuri, Kollam, you will play a crucial role in translating instructional content into engaging visual storyboards for various purposes such as video shoots, instructional videos, and eLearning modules. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with instructional designers, graphic artists, editors, and developers to ensure that the visual representations align with instructional objectives, ensuring clarity, flow, and maximum learner engagement. Your key responsibilities will include creating detailed and structured storyboards based on video scripts, developing sketches, scene layouts, and compositions to guide animation teams, and aligning visuals with instructional objectives. Additionally, you will closely collaborate with instructional designers to transform content into compelling visual narratives, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and refining storyboards to meet the desired outcomes. In your role, you will focus on enhancing learner engagement by emphasizing clear, step-by-step skill demonstrations, applying visual storytelling techniques to improve user understanding, and proposing creative ideas to enhance immersion in the learning experience. Furthermore, you will be responsible for maintaining quality control and ensuring that storyboards accurately represent real-world skill training, revising them based on usability testing and learner input, and maintaining version control and proper documentation throughout the process. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in eLearning/animation storyboarding, proficiency in tools such as Storyboard Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator, strong visual storytelling skills, basic knowledge of 3D/Unity, good sketching abilities, and familiarity with motion graphics and instructional design concepts would be advantageous.
