Angular full-stack lead engineer

You are a Senior Web Engineer joining the Extreme Event Solutions (EES) team at Verisk, with a focus on Reinsurance Solutions. The EES team develops cloud-based pricing, risk management, and decision-support software for the insurance, reinsurance, and capital markets. Your role is crucial as the risk assessment and management tools you work on support multi-million-dollar decisions, demanding attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability. You hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with a preference for a Master's degree. You bring a minimum of 5 years" professional experience in developing robust, scalable web applications, with a particular focus on data-rich applications. Your expertise includes a strong knowledge of modern JavaScript practices, extensive experience with Angular, and proficiency in Python and its ecosystem, including various API frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask. Your understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns, especially in the context of web applications, is solid. You are familiar with data visualization and UX design principles and have exposure to cloud infrastructure, particularly within the AWS ecosystem.
