Job Title: Anesthesiologist / Anesthesia Specialist Company: Swami Devi Dyal Group of professional Institutions & General Hospital Location: Golpura, Barwala, Panchkula, Haryana. Job Summary: An Anesthesiologist is a medical doctor who specializes in administering anesthesia before, during, and after surgical or medical procedures. They ensure the safety and comfort of patients by monitoring vital signs and adjusting anesthetic levels as needed. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate patients' medical history and conduct pre-anesthesia assessments. Determine the appropriate anesthetic plan for each patient based on their condition and the type of procedure. Administer various forms of anesthesia (general, regional, local, or sedation) safely. Monitor patients’ vital signs and responses during surgery, including heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, and level of consciousness. Adjust anesthesia levels and medications as necessary during procedures. Manage pain relief during recovery and in critical care units. Respond to emergencies and provide advanced life support if required. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Skills and Qualifications: Educational Qualification: MBBS followed by MD/DNB/Diploma in Anesthesiology. Licensure: Valid medical license and registration with medical council. Strong knowledge of anesthesia drugs, equipment, and techniques. Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure. Compassionate, attentive, and excellent communication skills. Work Environment: Hospitals (surgical theaters, ICUs, emergency rooms) Day surgery centers Pain clinics Critical care and trauma units Salary: Negotiable.
