Review operative and anesthesia records to assign accurate CPT, ICD-10-CM, and anesthesia codes
Apply correct ASA modifiers, physical status modifiers, time units
Ensure compliance with AAPC / AHIMA coding guidelines
Maintain productivity and quality standards
Identify and resolve coding discrepancies
Follow HIPAA and client-specific guidelines
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience in Anesthesia coding
Good knowledge of ASA guidelines, modifiers, base units, time units
Familiar with payer-specific rules
Attention to detail and accuracy
Certification:
CPC / CCS / CRC Mandatory
Immediate or short notice period preferred
Willing to work from Chennai location
