Job Description

Role Overview: At Capgemini Engineering, a global leader in engineering services, you will be part of a team that includes engineers, scientists, and architects dedicated to helping innovative companies reach their full potential. Your role will involve working on the Android Platform, focusing on Infotainment/Multimedia, with 8-12 years of relevant experience. You will define platform-level requirements, create and maintain detailed System Requirements Specifications (SyRS) and Software Requirements Specifications (SRS), and collaborate with various stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements. Additionally, you will work in the area of Software Engineering, applying scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems and developing software solutions/applications. Key Responsibilities: - Define platform-level requirements spanning Android framework services, middleware layers, and HAL interactions. - Create and maintain detailed System Requirements Specifications (SyRS) and Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) documents. - Gather, define, document, and maintain system and software requirements for Android platform features. - Collaborate with product managers, architects, and QA to translate business and system-level needs into detailed technical requirements. - Apply scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems. - Develop and apply software engineering practice and knowledge in research, design, development, and maintenance. - Exercise original thought and judgment, and supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers. - Build skills and expertise in the software engineering discipline to meet standard expectations for the applicable role. - Collaborate and act as a team player with other software engineers and stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communication Technology, or a comparable qualification. - 8-12 years of experience in Infotainment/Multimedia. - Proficiency in defining platform-level requirements and creating detailed specifications. - Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders. - Ability to analyze and solve software engineering problems using scientific methods. - Experience in software development, maintenance, and optimization.
