Role Overview: You have a unique opportunity to join the Mobile Engineering group at Launch Lab, supporting a global leader in human performance and healthcare. As an Android Engineer (Kotlin), you will be responsible for developing high-impact Android applications used for data management, communication, and gaining actionable insights. You will work on an existing flagship application used globally, with opportunities for new feature development and modernization using the latest Android frameworks. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain robust Android applications using Kotlin and Compose - Develop intuitive UIs to simplify data capture and visualization - Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data Science teams to iterate on new features - Write scalable, well-tested code and ensure CI/CD reliability - Participate in prototyping and innovation discussions - Contribute to the technical direction, architecture, and tooling standards of the mobile platform Qualifications Required: - 4-5 years of experience building and shipping complex Android apps to production - Expertise in Kotlin with some exposure to Java - Experience in MVVM/Clean Architecture environments - Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose, Hilt, Coroutines/Flow, and Retrofit - Proficiency in writing unit, snapshot, and UI automation tests (JUnit, Mockk, Espresso, Paparazzi) - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI, Fastlane) and Git workflows - Strong understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented programming, and Android lifecycle management - Experience integrating with REST or GraphQL APIs - Proven delivery in agile product teams Additional Company Details (if applicable): Launch Lab is supporting a global leader in human performance and healthcare by developing high-impact Android applications.
