Job Description

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with TCS.

Role: Android Developer

Job Type: C2H (Work from Office)

Client: TCS

Job Location: Bangalore/Chennai

Experience: 5 to 9 years

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days

Must Have:

5+ years of experience developing Android applications using Kotlin and Java
Strong knowledge in designing user interfaces using XML and adhering to Material Design guidelines
Hands-on experience with Android Studio and Android SDK
Familiar with Android interactivity and gesture handling
Proficient in using RecyclerView, ConstraintLayout, Vector Drawable, and other UI components
Experience implementing Navigation Components for seamless in-app navigation
Solid understanding of Kotlin Coroutines for asynchronous programming
Skilled in writing unit and UI tests using JUnit, Espresso, and Mockito
Experience handling push and local notifications in Android
Proficient with Git for version control and team collaboration

Good to Have:

Exposure to Agile development environment
Exposure to AWS and Azure.
