Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications using

  Kotlin

  and modern Android development tools.
• Collaborate with Product, Growth, and Design teams to define, design, and implement new features.
  
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
  
• Create

  unit tests

  to ensure robustness, usability, and reliability, including edge cases.
• Debug and resolve crashes, bugs, and performance issues.
  
• Implement

  RESTful API integrations

  and third-party SDKs.
• Participate in

  code reviews

  to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Android development and recommend improvements in app architecture and processes.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in

  Kotlin

  for Android development.
• Strong understanding of the

  Android SDK

  and Android development lifecycle (Android Studio, Play Store, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with

  Jetpack libraries, Retrofit, Coroutines, and Room database

  .
• Strong grasp of

  OOP

  concepts and architectural patterns such as

  MVI, MVVM, and Clean Architecture

  .
• Knowledge of

  RESTful APIs

  and third-party SDK integrations.
• Familiarity with

  Git

  and version control best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive mindset.
  

• Bachelor's degree

  in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 35 years of experience in developing enterprise-class Android mobile applications.
  

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to

  CI/CD pipelines

  for mobile app deployment.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as

  Espresso

  and

  JUnit

  .
• Familiarity with

  Jetpack Compose

  for building modern UIs.
• Portfolio of
