Android App Developer - Lead

You will be part of a dynamic team at DISH Network Technologies India Pvt. As a part of our organization, you will be contributing to various cutting-edge products and services including Boost Mobile, DISH TV, Sling TV, OnTech, Hughes, and Hughesnet. **Role Overview:** Join our Technology teams in challenging the status quo and reimagining capabilities across industries. Your role will involve research, development, technology innovation, and solution engineering to connect consumers with the products and platforms of tomorrow. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, define, and implement new features - Translate requirements, designs, and wireframes into high-quality code - Design, build, test, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable code - Motivate, mentor, and support fellow developers **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of experience in developing complex, large-scale Android applications - BE/BTech/MCA/ME/MTech/MS in Computer Science or related technical field - Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, and OOP concepts - Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices - Understanding of Android basics including memory management, thread management, and networking - Hands-on experience in supporting multiple versions of Android, screen resolutions, and device types - Effective communication and soft skills **Preferred Skills:** - Experience in Android TV frameworks - Working experience with streaming applications (OTT) - Familiarity with Jira & Git - Interest and passion for AOSP architecture - Knowledge of Google ATV Firmware Qualifications (GTS, CTS, VTS, etc.) & Process - Understanding of GOTA, firmware update, and life cycles Join our team at DISH Network Technologies India Pvt.
