Android App developer

You will be responsible for translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code, designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, reusable, and reliable Java code. Your role will involve ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application, identifying and correcting bottlenecks, and fixing bugs. You will also be required to help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. To excel in this role, you should have a strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes. Additionally, familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services is essential. You should possess a strong understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices, along with experience in offline storage, threading, and performance tuning. Your skill set should include the ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as touch, and familiarity with the use of additional sensors like gyroscopes and accelerometers. Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and available libraries for common tasks is crucial. You should be capable of understanding business requirements and translating them into technical requirements, as well as being familiar with cloud message APIs and push notifications. Having a knack for benchmarking and optimization, an understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines, and proficiency in code versioning tools like Git are important for this role. Familiarity with continuous integration is also desirable.
