The role involves coordinating with various departments, managing orders, and maintaining communication to meet buyer requirements and production deadlines. Key Responsibilities • Handle internal and external communication with buyers, suppliers, fabric manufacturers, and production teams to facilitate smooth operations. • Develop and manage samples (e.g., proto, fit, size set) according to buyer instructions, ensuring approvals for production. • Prepare internal order sheets, purchase orders, and cost breakdowns for fabrics, trims, accessories, and other materials. • Source and book raw materials, trims, and accessories, while monitoring inventory and in-housing to avoid delays. • Obtain approvals for lab dips, fabric quality, and tests, advising production and quality departments on standards. • Create and follow up on Time and Action (T&A) plans to track progress and ensure on-time delivery. • Coordinate inspections, provide shipping instructions, and oversee final shipments, including documentation. • Conduct negotiations, product development, and critical path analysis to confirm orders and resolve issues. • Monitor production status, quality control, and inventory reports, reporting to management as needed.
