Drone Mapping Pilot & Data Analyst Location: Lucknow / Field Sites Across India Organization: Anamya Productions & Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Drone Mapping Pilot & Data Analyst who can manage both the on-ground execution of UAV missions and the end-to-end transformation of aerial data into actionable geospatial intelligence . This position is ideal for professionals who already handle field operations or GIS analytics but wish to take ownership of complete drone-to-deliverable workflows . Applicants may come from either background: DGCA-certified pilots with proven project experience ready to lead data-driven workflows, or GIS analysts / photogrammetry experts ready to extend their skills into operational drone mapping. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute aerial mapping operations using DGCA-approved UAV platforms, ensuring mission design, permissions, and field safety compliance. Supervise data capture (RGB, LiDAR, multispectral) and coordinate with survey engineers for GCP planning. Manage post-processing pipelines —orthomosaics, DEM/DSM, contouring, volumetrics, and accuracy assessments—through Pix4D, Agisoft Metashape, DroneDeploy, QGIS, and Global Mapper . Validate datasets, conduct RMSE/error analysis , and ensure all deliverables meet Survey of India and MoSPI technical standards. Integrate outputs into GIS / CAD / BIM environments for client presentations, departmental reporting, or digital-twin systems. Liaise with government stakeholders and internal technical teams to maintain delivery timelines and documentation quality. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s / Master’s in Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing, Civil Engineering, Geography , or a related technical domain. 3–6 years of professional experience in drone mapping, aerial surveys, or GIS / LiDAR analytics . DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) for Small or Medium drones – mandatory for pilot applicants. ISRO-IIRS / NIIT / recognized GIS-Remote Sensing certifications – preferred for analyst applicants. Proven record in executing or leading Smart City, NHAI, Urban Planning, or departmental infrastructure projects . Technical Expertise Software: Pix4D | Metashape | DroneDeploy | QGIS | Global Mapper | ArcGIS Pro | AutoCAD . Systems: RTK/PPK GPS , GCP survey techniques , LiDAR point-cloud classification , and coordinate-system transformation . Understanding of data accuracy metrics, survey QA/QC workflows , and data integration for BIM or 3D-twin outputs . Professional Attributes Results-oriented with strong analytical and project-management capabilities. Skilled in stakeholder communication, documentation, and inter-team coordination. Demonstrated ability to deliver under fixed government timelines and compliance frameworks. Open to periodic travel and field deployment across India.
