Analytics Engineering Manager

You will be joining Forma.ai, a Series B startup dedicated to transforming sales compensation design, management, and optimization for leading companies like Edmentum, Stryker, and Autodesk. Your role as an Analytics Manager will involve collaborating with the VP of Analytics & Data Science to implement new customer solutions by translating business requirements into code. You will work with a variety of customer data, developing and refining code for large-scale data pipelines, architectures, and datasets. Identifying opportunities to provide additional value, managing competing priorities, and overseeing a team of Analytics Engineers will be key responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Implementing new customer solutions by translating business requirements into code - Developing and optimizing code for big data pipelines, architectures, and datasets - Collaborating with stakeholders to identify areas for added value while managing competing priorities - Managing a team of Analytics Engineers and supporting their personal growth Qualifications Needed: - 5+ years of experience in Python development, SQL, and Databricks/PySpark; API experience is a plus - Proficiency in building automated data ingestion and ETL/ELT pipelines - Strong communication skills across different teams - Ability to create end-to-end customer-facing products with customer empathy - Comfort working in a detail-oriented collaborative environment with cross-functional teams - Eagerness to learn new skills and technologies with a passion for data - Willingness to explore innovative technologies to improve data ingestion processes In addition to technical skills, we value teamwork, continuous improvement, and dedication to our customers.
