Analytical Scientist NPD (Solid Orals)

As an Analytical Scientist in the Analytical Development New Product Development (NPD) department of a Global Pharmaceutical MNC based in Bangalore, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Conduct analytical testing for solid oral formulations including tablets, capsules, ODTs, softgels, and ER/DR formulations. - Develop and validate methods for assay, related substances (RS), dissolution, and stability following ICH guidelines. - Troubleshoot analytical issues, manage Out of Specification (OOS) and Out of Trend (OOT) results, and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA). - Operate and troubleshoot a variety of instruments such as HPLC, UPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS/MS, UV, IR, and XRD. - Support the transfer of analytical methods to external and internal sites. - Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), maintain documentation, and execute projects within specified timelines. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide guidance to junior scientists. Qualifications for this role include: - A Master's degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) or Chemistry (M.Sc. Chemistry) is preferred; however, candidates with lower qualifications but significant relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
