Analytical Scientist-Injectable

Role Overview: You are sought after to join the Research and Development team at Dr. Reddys Laboratories Ltd. as an Analytical Scientist for the Injectable Division. Your role will involve developing and validating analytical methods for injectable products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, conducting literature reviews, scaling up for manufacturing batches, coordinating manufacturing readiness, overseeing plant execution, and facilitating seamless technology transfer. It is essential to have a strong understanding of analytical principles, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and validate analytical methods for injectable products. - Perform Drug Master File/Literature review and procure relevant columns and standards for analytical method development. - Stay updated with the latest literature and industry developments in the field. - Execute analytical activities as per defined procedures, document data, and send records for review and release. - Develop analytical methods for drug products for various tests mentioned in the specification. - Conduct analytical method validation activities at manufacturing sites and provide method development reports. - Transfer analytical methods to plant locations successfully for training the Quality Control (QC) team. - Ensure proper maintenance of laboratory equipment as per Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) standards. - Calibrate instruments as per the calibration schedule and strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). - Maintain a clean and organized work area with controlled laboratory environment conditions. - Keep all relevant documents well-maintained and organized for easy access and compliance with auditing requirements. Qualifications Required: - Educational qualification: Masters in Science/ Organic chemistry/ Pharmaceutical Sciences. - Minimum work experience: 6-12 years in analytical method development.
