Job Description

Analytical development scientist Job Description:

Analytical Development Scientists spearhead laboratory research, develop new pharmaceutical products, and optimize existing formulas. Responsibilities encompass designing and executing experiments, analysing data, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and development activities to optimize and improve analytical methods and techniques of Intermediates and API.
  • Design and execute experiments to support method development, qualification, and validation of API.
  • Perform analytical testing of drug substances and drug products in support of process development and manufacturing of API.
  • Analyse and interpret data using statistical and scientific methods to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and publications to communicate research findings and project updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality control, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to support product development and regulatory submissions.
  • Stay current with scientific and regulatory developments through literature review, participation in conferences, and continuing education.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, standards, and guidelines related to analytical development and testing activities.

Requirements:

  • Master's, or Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, organic chemistry, or related fields.
  • 5-10 years’ Experience in analytical method development for intermediate/API.
  • Proficiency in chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques, including HPLC, UPLC, GC, LC-MS, and NMR.
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines, such as ICH and FDA guidance, related to analytical development and validation of API.
  • Ability to design and execute experiments, analyse data, and draw conclusions to support drug development API.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write technical reports and present data to cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Experience working in a GMP environment and knowledge of quality systems, such as change control and deviation management, is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
