Analytical R&D - Internship

Role Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated postgraduate candidates (MTech/MSc) from Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related fields to join our Research & Development team. This entry-level role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across analytical characterization of biologics. Fresh graduates with academic project experience or internships are encouraged to apply.

You will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, contributing to experimental design, data analysis, process optimization, and cross-functional initiatives that support drug development and manufacturing.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Physico Chemical Characterisation

  :
1. Assist in method development and qualification using chromatography, electrophoresis, UV/Vis, and mass spectrometry.
2. Apply spectroscopic tools to study molecular structures and properties.
3. Document experiments in electronic lab notebooks and support scientific reporting.
4. Maintain instruments and manage lab inventory and scheduling.

• Functional Characterisation

  :
1. Develop, qualify, and transfer bioassays for monoclonal antibodies, insulin analogues, ADCs, and peptides.
2. Perform in vitro assays using ELISA, Flow Cytometry, SPR/BLI, and luminescence-based platforms.
3. Handle instruments like Biacore, Octet, Plate Readers, and Flow Cytometers.
4. Analyze data using GraphPad Prism, JMP, and instrument-specific software

• Process Impurities & Bioanalytical

  :
1. Assay Development, validation and transfer
• HCP quantitation from in process/DS-DP by ELISA.
• HCDNA quantitation by RTPCR
• PK and Immunogenicity by ELISA/ECL-MSD platform.
1. Purification and labelling of antibodies and drug. Reagents preparation for method Development, Qualification and Transfer.
2. Gel Electrophoresis (1D,2D & Dige) and western blotting.
3. Documentation Support method development and method Validation/qualification.

• Data Analysis & Reporting

  :
1. Compile and analyze experimental data using basic statistical tools
2. Maintain accurate lab records and prepare technical reports

• Collaboration & Compliance

  :
1. Work closely with cross-functional teams including QA, QC, Manufacturing, and Regulatory
2. Adhere to GLP, GMP, EHS, and other industry standards

Desired Skill Set:

• Freshers with Master's degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• Basic laboratory skills and familiarity with common laboratory equipment.
• Basic understanding in Chromatography and other biophysical characterization methods.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Enthusiasm for learning and a passion for biopharmaceutical research.
