Analytic Solutions Engineer - Vice President

As a Financial control Professional in the Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining, and delivering set goals for the firm. You will be responsible for designing and developing end-to-end analytical solutions and subcomponents. This includes creating data engineering pipelines using Astronomer Airflow, building Python libraries, deploying REST APIs, and constructing dashboards. You will also participate in applying modern software engineering practices to enhance the public cloud analytics services. Your role will involve assisting in collecting and defining user requirements from Portfolio Managers and Strategists. You will facilitate the utilization of resulting models and systems across multiple lines of business, providing training to inexperienced users and hosting informational teaching sessions on the use of analytical tool kits and internal quantitative models. Additionally, you will consult on the application of modern data science and machine learning to business initiatives and manage and provide technical guidance to 2-3 engineers. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - 7+ years of industry experience with a proven track record of building and deploying production-grade software, ideally in the finance domain. - Professional proficiency in Python, especially in web and data analysis libraries. - Education/experience in Computer Science, Engineering, and/or Data Science related discipline. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to transform practices into more efficient solutions/system/processes. - A strong interest in the finance/banking industry. - Familiarity with building and hosting images, and using container orchestration frameworks. - Prior exposure to accounting standards and fixed income products. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - Additional experience in front-end development using Dash is preferred. - Knowledge and experience in cloud architecture and solutions deployment, preferably using tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, Terraform, and AWS CodeDeploy. - Understanding of data structures, design patterns, and system design is preferred. - Experience with full-stack development is preferred. - Experience with data science practices such as regression, classification, clustering simulation, scenario analysis, and optimization is preferred.,
