Analyst /Senior Analyst - Equity Research - Sell Side (India Market)

As a global leader in knowledge processes, research, and analytics, you will be part of a team focusing on global market research and collaborating with top-rated investment research organizations, bulge bracket investment banks, and leading asset managers. Serving 8 of the top 10 global banks, you will work closely with product and sector teams to support deal origination, execution, valuation, and transaction advisory-related projects. - Provide onshore support to sell-side research analysts (institutional equities) of the capital markets and investment group - Collect and analyze financial data using online and other sources like Bloomberg and Reuters - Build historical financial models and provide forecasts - Develop company operating metrics relevant across different sectors/companies - Calculate company valuation using methods such as DCF, DDM, trading multiples, and EVA - Prepare various reports including company profiles, earning notes, and sector reports - Summarize investment conference calls and conduct management interviews - Develop roadshow presentations - Manage ad hoc research requests based on client requirements Requirements: - CA/MBA (Finance); CFA (added advantage) - Minimum 1 year experience in Equity Research in institutional sell-side research in the Indian Market - Strong accounting and financial skills - Good analytical skills - Knowledge of macroeconomic aggregates and regression analysis - Ability to meet deadlines and implement new working styles - Proactive in contributing to company goals and mission - Familiarity with databases such as Bloomberg and Reuters, and other financial systems - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in MS Office (Note: Additional details of the company were not included in the job description provided),
