Description
You will be working as an Analyst Developer at FNZ, where you will be involved in analyzing system changes, designing databases, developing financial business logic, and creating web applications. Your role will require you to collaborate with analyst testers and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions. As an Analyst Developer, you will also need to understand the application, business, and industry you are working in. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist the analyst tester in defining user story definitions and acceptance criteria. - Define the underlying design required for feature/user story changes. - Provide solutions for technical issues and ensure they meet technical specs and design requirements. - Design and build APIs and system interfaces for integration into core FNZ products and third-party applications. - Interpret complex financial requirements and develop high-transactional, secure systems. - Design intuitive user interfaces and interactive financial tools for advisers and investors. - Develop real-time transaction processing systems supporting millions of trades daily. - Collaborate with Solution Consultants and Analyst Testers to implement new functionality for institutional customers. - Adhere to code management procedures, coding standards, and security standards. - Write automated unit tests for newly created code and perform manual testing. - Collaborate with developers to share knowledge and best practices. - Mentor new starters and provide training as required. - Stay updated on the latest technologies and resolve technical issues impeding development progress. - Create innovative solutions by incorporating cutting-edge technology. **Qualifications Required:** - First-class bachelor's degree or higher. - Confident with the ability to take initiative in a delivery-focused environment. - Independent working style and quick learner in a fast-paced industry. - Enjoy working as part of a high-performance team. - Hard-working, innovative, and passionate about creating innovative solutions. - Some experience with programming languages and end-to-end software deliveries. **Required Skills:** - Experience with Microsoft .NET development products, including .NET, C#, and SQL Server. - Familiarity with web development technologies such as ASP.NET, JavaScript, and ReactJS. - Understanding of financial products and markets, web services, and automated testing tools. **Preferred Skills:** - Some experience with programming languages and end-to-end software deliveries.
