You are seeking a highly experienced Data Analytics & Power BI Specialist with more than 10 years of expertise in data visualization, business intelligence, and data analysis. In this critical position, you will be expected to possess a profound knowledge of developing advanced Power BI dashboards and reports, a strong grasp of data modeling, and exceptional analytical skills. Your primary responsibility as a Senior Power BI Specialist will involve collaborating closely with stakeholders across the organization to offer insights, facilitate data-driven decisions, and support strategic initiatives. You will play a pivotal role within the analytics team, focusing on designing, implementing, and optimizing Power BI solutions to align with the evolving business requirements. Your main responsibilities will include: - Designing, architecting, and developing analytics solutions and visualizations that effectively communicate intricate data insights. - Working in conjunction with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into Power BI solutions, and guide data-driven decision-making. - Constructing and enhancing complex data models within Power BI, utilizing DAX and Power Query for implementing calculations, KPIs, and advanced metrics. - Performing data analysis and interpreting trends to identify key insights and strategic recommendations. - Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through rigorous testing, data validation, and quality checks. - Developing custom visuals and enhancing dashboard interactivity to meet unique business requirements and enhance user experience. - Mentoring and training junior team members on Power BI best practices, DAX, data modeling, and visualization techniques. - Remaining updated on Power BI capabilities, new features, custom visuals, and updates to enhance performance and functionality. - Collaborating closely with data engineering and IT teams to ensure efficient data integration, scalability, and performance of the BI environment. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. - Minimum of 8 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related role, with a focus on Power BI for at least 5-6 years. - Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and custom visual creation. - Strong SQL skills and experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. - Demonstrated ability in designing complex Power BI solutions that drive insights and support business decisions. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach to ensure data quality and accuracy. - Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, data governance, and best practices in data management. - Effective communication and presentation skills to translate technical insights into actionable business recommendations. - Knowledge of cloud-based BI environments (e.g., Azure, AWS) and other visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) is advantageous. - Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members.,
