Job Description Responsible as a Lead Engineer for the project to establish Quality requirements. Review of Quality Assurance Plan / ITP, Procedures. Inspection of Raw materials. Knowledge of various destructive & non- destructive test methods, knowledge of various manufacturing processes & their capabilities. Implementation of ISO in intra department activities. Roles and Responsibilities 1. Overall responsibility for Quality activities across the business. 2. Create and implement best practice quality vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance. 3. Ensure that quality strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets and which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market and in a sustained manner. 4. Manage all quality-related issues within the manufacturing team (e.g. internal, supplier, customer and customer warranty). 5. Identify root cause and implement containment, corrective and permanent corrective actions for product quality issues. 6. Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues that arise as quickly and efficiently as possible to prevent compromising quality and safety standards. 7. Carry out product and process validation and auditing as per requiremnts. 8. Ensure control plans and associated documentation are implemented effectively and maintained 9. Monitor and report on quality-related key performance indicators like, rework levels, parts per million (PPM) figures. 10. Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality Management system (ISO 9001:2015) 11. Assist with training of quality awareness. 12. Assist with first off sample approvals. 13. Participate in cross-functional teams in the development of new products or changes related to current products in meeting customer requirements 14. Participate in the development and refinement of Design and Process. 15. Manage the Supplier Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). 16. Manage and coordinate customer PPM (Parts per Million), supplier PPM, supplier problem solving on time, cost recovery and supplier warranty indicators. 17. Keep up with current and developing manufacturing and engineering trends that concern product quality. 18. Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems. 19. Independently determine approach and assigned tasks.
