As the Manager Operations at a fast-growing company specializing in packaging products based in Chakan, you will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day plant operations. Your responsibilities will include managing various product lines such as corrugated, wooden, and plastic, ensuring seamless coordination across production, procurement, quality, and dispatch functions. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage day-to-day plant operations, overseeing production schedules and monitoring machine utilization and process efficiency. - Coordinate with procurement and store teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and optimize inventory levels. - Oversee dispatch operations to ensure timely delivery of finished goods and manage logistics coordination. - Act as the primary contact for customer order tracking, delivery schedules, and complaint resolution. - Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, or similar practices for process optimization and cost-saving opportunities. - Work with the QA team to ensure product quality meets customer and regulatory standards and lead root cause analysis for quality issues. - Manage a team of supervisors, line workers, and technicians, ensuring adherence to preventive maintenance schedules and workplace safety standards. - Submit operational reports and KPIs to the Managing Director regularly and assist in budgeting and long-term manufacturing strategy. Qualification Required: - Proven track record in managing plant operations in packaging, OEMs, or Automotive Component Suppliers. - Experience in dispatch/logistics and direct customer coordination preferred. - Strong leadership, people management, and problem-solving skills. - Familiarity with ISO standards, ERP systems, and manufacturing-related statutory compliance. - Excellent communication, planning, and analytical abilities.,
