POSITION SUMMARY Industrial engineer who is cost-conscious, analytical and can act as change agent. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Forecasting Standard Machine Hours, Headcount, M/C utilization for each department & plant. Material flow, M/C layout & space optimization: Plant wide. Plant wide Cost reduction Projects responsibility. Conduct training on LEAN manufacturing, 5S and productivity improvement (New Systems). Consolidating the reports for Outside factory/global team. Cycle Time Study in assembly. Cost reduction projects. Data analysis and MIS preparation Head count estimation as per the production plan Plant relay outing as per requirement Driving for manufacturing Efficiency improvements projects (Scrap, OEE, DL) in Assembly. Lean Implementation & Sustaining activities, Lean system Audits Responsible for KPI of IE dept. Implement and maintain the procedures and records as per the standards. Responsible for conducting TPM/QRQC/SMED workshop in shop floor EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED Education M. Tech in Manufacturing Management, B. Tech in Production Engineering Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training and certification Experience 8 to 12 Years experience in Industrial Engineering Skills Working knowledge of 7 QC tools, SPC, FMEA, VSM, TQM, DOE and other LEAN tools Strong Software knowledge including AutoCAD, Minitab and MS OFFICE tools Good communicational and presentation skills
