Role Description A detail-oriented and results-driven Electrical Work Tendering Engineer , responsible for managing the complete tendering and estimation process for electrical projects in the commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors . The role involves reviewing tender documents , preparing technical and commercial bids , and ensuring all submissions comply with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements. It also includes coordinating with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal teams to ensure accurate costing, BOQ preparation, and timely bid submissions. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical and estimation skills, proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and estimation tools , and a solid understanding of value engineering and cost optimization techniques . Qualifications Analyse and interpret tender documents including drawings, specifications, and scope of work. Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities), cost estimates, and pricing sheets for electrical systems (LV/MV/HV). Conduct quantity take-offs and evaluate material, labour, and subcontractor costs. Coordinate with design, procurement, and project execution teams to ensure bid accuracy. Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals in accordance with tender requirements. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations and technical clarifications. Participate in pre-bid meetings, technical discussions, and value engineering exercises. Maintain tender documentation, cost databases, and project costing records. Evaluate post-tender clarifications and support contract negotiations. Support management in bid/no-bid decisions and tender strategy formulation. ⚙ Technical Skills - Electrical design and estimation (lighting, power, ELV, control systems, etc.) Tender documentation and bid submission (EPC, Design-Build, Lump Sum, etc.) AutoCAD, MS Office (Excel, Project), and estimation software (e.g., Candy, PlanSwift, or Estimation Pro) Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, NEC, and local electrical standards Cost analysis, rate build-up, and value engineering 📍 Experience: 7–10 years 🎓 Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering If you’re skilled in BOQ preparation, cost estimation, value engineering , and have hands-on experience with AutoCAD, MS Office, and estimation tools , we’d love to hear from you! 📩 Apply now or DM us
