Job Description: Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures Inventory ControlAnalyze and reduce costs. Ensure controls in Safety, Quality and Storage. Good Working knowledge in SAP. Work with outside suppliers to increase the quality of components. Coordinate with the different department in the manufacturing plant. Work with the financial department to come up with a budget and spending plan. Manage communication lines with managers, suppliers, and procurement departments. Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standardsPropose innovative ideas to increase market share. Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths. Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc). One of the major responsibilities of the store manager is to make the customers feel safe and comfortable in the store. It is his key responsibility to make sure that the customer leaves the store with a pleasant smile. Determine product design requirements. Design and develop new products Determine manufacturing requirements. Determine purchase components requirements. Product verification and validation. Evaluation of developed product in the field.. Maintenance of Product configuration and proposal system. Support to Global engineering team for the various assignments Education: BE/B.Tech - Mechanical Engineering Experience: Up to 2 years
Responsible for strategic planning and execution of all supply chain activities Good knowledge of supplier base in Gujarat and across India (Experience for bought out components will be additional advantage) Close coordination with other stakeholders for timely execution of Purchase strategy Vendor engagement abilities Supplier performance monitoring Vendor development for new products and localisation of products Vendor evaluation and commercial negotiations. Making rate contracts and supply agreements to suit our operational requirements. Closely monitor price drivers and keep re-negotiating the supplier prices to take full benefit of market factors. Vendor development for machined and fabricated components Understanding of drawings and technical specifications for bought out items Knowledge of sourcing tools to search new vendors for new items Exposure to Imports (EXIM) will be additional advantage Good knowledge of supplier base in Gujarat and across India for bought out components Requirements of the jobholder: Work Experience: 8 to 12 Years of relevant experience in heavy engineering company (Preferable concrete plant / pump manufacturing).
(i) Conversant with SAP for accounting of vendor invoices, Checking and doing MIRO in SAP. (ii) Vendor account reconciliation work with vendor confirmation of balances. (iii) Clearing GR IR account every month with zero pendency in GR IR account of SAP. (iv) knowledge of TDS/TCS provision and experience so that proper TDS can be deducted in case of vendor accounting if applicable. (v) Bank Reconciliation (vi) Supporting role in Accounts department as and when required by the department.
