Purchase Executive Job Summary: As the Purchase Executive, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of industrial raw materials for the company. You will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and optimizing supply chain processes to meet our business objectives. Responsibilities and Duties: 1) Vendor Management: Identify, assess, and select reliable suppliers for industrial raw materials. Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements. Continuously evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships. 2) Strategic Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure a consistent and cost-effective supply of industrial raw materials. Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. 3) Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production demands without overstocking. Implement inventory control measures to reduce waste and minimize carrying costs. 4) Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that purchased materials meet the required specifications and quality standards. Resolve quality issues with suppliers promptly and effectively. 5) Cost Control: Track and manage procurement budgets to ensure adherence to financial targets. Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality. 6) Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards. Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation. 7) Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior procurement staff. Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in a similar procurement role within the B2B industrial raw materials sector. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Tally operational knowledge and experience is a must. Willingness to commit with company for long horizon is mandatory. Strong work ethics and positive team attitude. Willingness to work on Key Performance Indicators is necessary. Key Responsibilities: Equipment Operation: Operate and monitor chemical reactors during production process. Control flaker operations to convert molten material into flaked form. Monitor and maintain support systems like thermic fluid heater, chiller, vacuum pump, and cooling tower during production. Ensure proper startup, shutdown, and emergency handling of equipment. Production Control: Follow batch instructions and SOPs to execute production processes. Record batch data, process parameters, and any deviations during production. Optimize machine run-time, reduce wastage, and improve batch consistency. In-Process Quality Checks: Take in-process samples and conduct basic quality tests Adjust process parameters based on test results in consultation with the supervisor. Ensure only acceptable quality material is transferred for next process. Safety and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work area and machinery. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times. Report equipment faults, leaks, or safety issues to maintenance team. Assist in basic maintenance tasks like filter cleaning, oil level checks, etc. Documentation and Communication: Fill up production logbooks and shift handover records accurately. Communicate issues promptly to the shift in-charge or supervisor. Cooperate with quality and maintenance teams during audits and troubleshooting. Note: Rotational Shift job, so the candidate might need to do shift if required

Key Responsibilities: 1. Raw Material Testing: Conduct routine quality checks of incoming raw materials including phenols, aldehydes, catalysts, fillers, etc. Approve or reject materials based on test results and specifications. Maintain records of raw material inspection and communicate deviations. 2. In-Process Monitoring: Perform real-time testing and analysis during resin synthesis and processing. Coordinate closely with production team to communicate test results effectively. 3. Finished Goods Testing: Conduct final product testing as per defined product specifications (e.g., viscosity, flow, moisture content, solid content, curing time, etc.). Issue certificates of analysis (COA) as required. 4. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of all test data, batch histories, and calibration logs. Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal SOPs. Participate in internal and external audits. 5. Laboratory Upkeep: Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and good laboratory practices (GLP). Maintain adequate inventory of lab chemicals and consumables.
