We’re looking for a hands-on Store Manager with experience in paint & waterproofing products to run day-to-day store operations and actively drive sales with builders, contractors, facility managers and apartment associations . Key Responsibilities Inventory & Store Ops: GRN, binning & labeling, FIFO , min–max levels, stock ledger, monthly stock take, returns/damages. Billing & Docs: Sales invoices, delivery challans, vendor GR, basic Tally/Excel entries, gate pass management. Sales Enablement: Daily follow-ups with builders/contractors , site requirement capture, coordinate samples/quotes, close small/medium orders. Vendor & Logistics: Indent & re-order, follow-up with suppliers, arrange deliveries to sites on time. Store Hygiene & Compliance: Safety, MSDS awareness for chemicals, housekeeping, records. Must-Have Experience in paint/waterproofing retail/wholesale store or counter. Strong stock control skills (re-order levels, variance control). Excel basics (vlookups not required, but data entry/filters), Tally (basic). Communication in Tamil ; functional English. Customer handling & follow-up discipline. Good to Have Two-wheeler for market visits (fuel reimbursable as per policy). Local network with builders/contractors . Knowledge of brands: Asian Paints, Nippon, Dr. Fixit, Fosroc, Sika, etc. Timings: Standard retail hours (9am-7:30pm).
