Role & responsibilities Estimation & Cost Analysis Prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for all project phases (civil and interiors) Conduct detailed rate analysis using market research, vendor quotations, and historical data Benchmark material and labor rates regularly to maintain competitive positioning Implement value engineering proposals in collaboration with design and execution teams Business Support & Development Support business development with preliminary cost estimates during tender and pitch stages Draft cost estimates aligned with contractual scope and specifications Prepare cost deviation reports comparing budgeted versus actual project expenses Assist management in setting project budgets and profitability margins Vendor Management & Procurement Support Collect and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations for cost-effectiveness Prepare comparative analysis statements and highlight cost-effective options Provide technical support during vendor negotiations Maintain updated databases of vendor rates and material catalogues Quality & Compliance Coordinate with Design teams to ensure drawings are feasible and quantities accurate Liaise with Execution teams for site validations and clarifications Ensure BOQs meet accuracy standards and comply with company policies Conduct self-audits of estimation accuracy and implement improvements Documentation & Reporting Prepare summary sheets, dashboards, and presentations for management Maintain complete version-controlled records of BOQs and estimates Document lessons learned from completed projects for continuous enhancement Train future junior resources when the team expands Preferred candidate profile Proficiency in quantity surveying and cost estimation software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office) Strong analytical and mathematical skills. Knowledge of materials, finishes, and industry standards in interior design. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
