AMC Bridge

POSITION DESCRIPTION: As a CAD Quality Assurance Engineer, you will ensure the reliability of advanced software solutions for AMC Bridge clients. Your responsibilities include testing sophisticated CAD/BIM software, researching innovative tools and methodologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and resolving software-related issues efficiently. LOCATION: Pune, Chennai (India) MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: At least 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Design Engineer with proficiency in CAD software 3+ years of practical experience in Quality Assurance roles with a strong focus on CAD systems EDUCATION: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. REQUIREMENTS: Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), QA methodologies, and best practices Proficiency in manual testing of complex software systems Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps Working knowledge of at least one CAD/BIM system: Revit, Dassault Systmes SOLIDWORKS, PTC Creo, CATIA V5, NX, AutoCAD, etc Excellent communication and teamwork skills Upper-Intermediate level of English DUTIES: Collaborate with product development and management teams to ensure software quality Conduct QA activities throughout the SDLC in alignment with company policies Develop and maintain detailed, structured test documentation Prepare reusable test data, including 3D models and CAD/BIM drawings Estimate and plan QA efforts for various projects Attend daily stand-ups, planning sessions, and sprint reviews Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile
