Job Location: Kannur, Kerala Education: Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma/ in Textile technology or related field Experience: 8–12 years of experience in quality management within home textiles manufacturing/export firm. Job Profile: To lead and manage the Quality Assurance function by ensuring that all products meet customer specifications, international quality standards, and compliance requirements. The QA Manager is responsible for implementing robust quality systems, avoid rejections, and improving customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Quality Strategy & System Development – Implement and follow QA/QC system and SOP throughout the process . Define quality KPIs such as percentage of rejections/ rework rate, customer complaint/OTD Process & Product Quality Control- Monitor quality across the value chain: raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods. Lead, train, and develop a team of QA/QC inspectors and supervisors across all departments. Monitor team performance through audits, reviews, and feedback systems. Reduce rejections, wastage, and rework through process improvement and lean manufacturing practices. Collaborate with R&D and production teams for new product developments and its quality constrains. Conduct lab test, Root cause analysis, forming CAPA. S afety, chemical restrictions (REACH, CPSIA, AZO-free), and eco-compliance. Key Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of textile processes: weaving, dyeing, printing, embroidery, stitching, finishing. Expertise in systems such as ISO, SEDEX, QMS, GOTS, GRS etc. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
