Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. As a Welder, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling metal structures and components, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Duties Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding on various materials including sheet metal and pipes. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to fabricate components according to design requirements. Conduct quality checks using calipers and micrometers to ensure precision in measurements. Assemble metal parts using welding techniques while adhering to ASME codes & standards. Operate cranes and forklifts safely for transporting materials within the construction site or manufacturing facility. Execute pipe threading and ductwork installation as required by project specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Experience Proven experience in welding within a construction or manufacturing environment is preferred. Familiarity with fabrication processes and mechanical knowledge is essential. Experience with machining, soldering, plasma cutting, press brake machines, and rigging is a plus. Basic math skills are necessary for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks. Previous experience working with assembly processes will be beneficial.
