Your responsibilities will include overseeing vendor invoice processing, TDS, income tax, GST compliance, and fixed asset accounting within the SAP system. You will be tasked with ensuring full compliance with TDS, income tax, and GST regulations, maintaining accurate fixed asset records, conducting periodic audits, and engaging with tax authorities to address any queries or assessments promptly. Staying updated with the latest tax laws and regulations to guarantee adherence and collaborating with different departments to provide tax-related support and guidance will be essential aspects of your role. To excel in this position, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, coupled with at least 5 years of taxation experience, preferably within the FMCG sector. A strong grasp of TDS, income tax, and GST laws, along with prior experience in fixed asset accounting using SAP, is mandatory. Proficiency in utilizing SAP Business One and SAP HANA for tax-related processes and reporting is also required.
