JD: Engineer/ Sr. Engineer – Design & development at AltSF Process Pvt. Ltd. Job Description: Ideate and conceptualize new and innovative technologies both upstream and downstream to realize the dream product of AltSF. Scale‐up and adapt the existing technologies for different customer segments. Optimize our current and future technologies to reduce cost, weight and improve efficiency for all equipment of bulk material handling. Designing: Design & drafting for the new equipment based on 3d design team’s input, with help of Solid-EDGE software Work on AUTOCAD & BOQ for project equipment – based on specifications of the projects Scaling standard drawings to the specific project requirement Drafting all assembly & subassemblies of the equipment, without any deviations. Must able to foresee issues in assembly while drafting equipment drawings Able to select standard bought out material for the finalized customer specifications like chain, motor, belt etc. For on-going projects in India & international complete project layout & GA preparation. Co-ordinate with steel support structure and design engineering suppliers for corrected detailed drawings. As per need & management decision – visit to site for DAP validation Manufacturing Releases: To independently function and ensure completion of product release with detailed BOQ for the various Projects To update the vendor list as and when required by locating vendors providing better services in terms of unit economics and quality than the existing vendors for major design bought out. To involve in manufacturing to support project engineer & get the real workshop needs and corrections to the drawings Miscellaneous: · To take up additional responsibilities as entrusted by the Company from time to time. Education: B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering Experience: · At-least 2 year in similar function & maximum of 5 years · 2D design & drafting experience with latest version of autoCAD · 3D designing experience with one of the software: Solid edge is must · Design & development of bulk material handling equipment, waste handing equipment Prerequisites: · Place of work: at Head office of AltSF Process Pvt.
