JD - Layout Designer (2D) (5-day WFO) Designation: Layout Designer Location: Gurgaon Experience: 4+ Years Requirements & Skills: 1. 4+ years of experience in layout designing or 2D drafting for commercial interiors/office spaces. 2. Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field preferred. 3. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and related drafting software like SketchUp, Solidworks Revit is a plus. 4. Proven experience in drafting corporate and office space layouts, including coworking spaces, for areas exceeding 15,000 sq. ft or other commercial fit-outs 5. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines. 6. Solid technical drawing skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Key Responsibilities: 1. Create detailed and precise 2D layout plans, sketches, and working drawings using AutoCAD for coworking and managed office spaces based on design briefs. 2. Collaborate with internal stakeholders like project engineers, and other internal teams to understand requirements and spatial constraints. 3. Develop space planning options that optimize functionality, aesthetics, and compliance with building norms. 4. Create furniture layout plans, partition drawings, ceiling and flooring layouts, and MEP coordination drawings. 5. Revise drawings based on feedback from design/project teams or clients. 6. Maintain drawing accuracy, scaling, completeness and documentation standards throughout all design phases. 7. Ensure all layouts comply with safety, accessibility, and regulatory standards. 8. Support site teams with technical drawing clarifications when required.
