Roles & Responsibilities Oversee operations of the finance& accounting, set goals and objectives. Manage the daily operations of the accounting department including month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity Provide financial MIS reports and interpret financial information to the management Manage the preparation of the companys budget. Liaise with auditors/consultants for all statutory compliances including GST, PF, ESI etc. Correspond with various government departments, banks etc. Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities Requirements and skills Proven experience as a Financial & Accounts Manager Experience in the industrial sector primarily engaged in imports & export of machineries. Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns Proficient user of finance software Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations. Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
