Role & responsibilities Manage and supervise office support staff, including administrative assistants, clerks, and housekeeping. Oversee facility management, office supplies, vendor contracts, and utility services. Coordinate with HR, Finance, Production, and Purchase departments for administrative support. Maintain office records, documentation, and filing systems (physical & digital). Ensure compliance with company policies, safety norms, and statutory requirements. Monitor office budgets, expenses, and prepare periodic MIS reports for management. Support travel arrangements, meeting schedules, and company events. Handle procurement of non-production items such as office supplies, IT support materials, and consumables. Ensure effective communication and coordination across departments. Address grievances related to office support and resolve them efficiently Preferred candidate profile Basic understanding of statutory compliance related to office administration. Knowledge of vendor and contract management. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Working knowledge of ERP / Office Management Software. Minimum 58 years of experience in office administration, facilities management, or office support roles. Prior experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment (preferably tools manufacturing) is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities: Production Management Lead and manage the full production lifecycle to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets. Oversee and ensure timely execution of production schedules with optimal resource utilization. Monitor production output and adjust schedules as needed to meet delivery deadlines. Process & Quality Improvement Drive lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, etc.). Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance with product specifications and standards. Conduct root cause analysis for defects or delays and implement preventive measures. Coordination & Reporting Liaise with Purchase, Design, Quality, and Maintenance departments for seamless operations. Maintain detailed and accurate production records, reports, and dashboards. Assist in budget planning, inventory management, and cost control measures. Technical Support in Purchasing Provide technical inputs to the Purchase Department for sourcing of raw materials, tools, and components. Evaluate vendor capabilities and material specifications to ensure compatibility with production requirements. Support in vendor development and alternate sourcing strategies. Key Skills Required: Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, preferably in the tools/engineering sector. Leadership & people management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in production planning and control (PPC). Good understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. Treasury & Cash Flow Management Manage working capital, credit control, and fund requirements. Optimize cash flows for smooth operations. Build relationships with banks and financial institutions. Business Partnering & Leadership Partner with other functional heads (Production, Sales, HR, Supply Chain). Support business decision-making with financial insights. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance & accounts team. Preferred candidate profile Mandatory: Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost Accountant (CMA). Preferred: MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute. Strong knowledge of manufacturing finance, costing, and MIS reporting. Proficiency in SAP / ERP systems, MS Excel, and financial modeling. Excellent understanding of taxation (GST, Income Tax, Customs, Excise). Strong leadership, decision-making, and analytical skills. Ability to handle investor, banker, and auditor relations.
