Allied Mineral Products is a leading manufacturer of monolithic refractories worldwide and is currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technology Centre Manager to lead a diverse team of IT and other professionals at Allied's downtown Ahmedabad Technology Centre. As the Technology Centre Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple IT teams, including Network Security, PMO, SAP Business Analysts, Data Analysts, Infrastructure Administrators, and Software Developers, as well as Internal Audit. Your role will involve providing strategic direction, fostering a collaborative work environment, and ensuring the successful delivery of IT projects and services. You will work closely with individual team managers based in Allied's headquarters in the U.S. to coordinate efforts and achieve organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: - Team Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and oversight to multiple IT teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment, and mentoring team managers and members for professional growth and project success. - Operational Oversight: Ensure efficient operation of the Technology Centre, coordinate with team managers in Ohio, and monitor team performance. - Project and Resource Management: Oversee IT project planning, execution, and delivery, allocate resources effectively, and collaborate with PMO to manage project timelines and budgets. - HR and Administrative Functions: Conduct performance evaluations, address employee issues, and ensure compliance with company policies. - Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between the Technology Centre and other departments, communicate project status to senior management, and ensure alignment of IT initiatives with business goals. - Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvement opportunities, stay updated with industry trends, and encourage continuous learning and development within the IT teams. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field; Master's degree preferred. - Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role overseeing diverse IT teams, with preference given to candidates with ERP (SAP preferred) implementation experience. - Strong leadership and HR skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with remote managers. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities and experience working in a multinational company. - Ability to work during specified working hours (14:30 - 23:30, Monday to Friday) and on-site in the office in Ahmedabad (not a remote position).,

We are currently seeking a n Executive Assistant for our Ahmedabad location. This position will p rovide administrative support to the Managing Director. This includes working with draft letters, reports, and presentations; filing; scheduling meetings and various daily planning; various activities towards better organization of work; etc. Significant activities will involve company confidential information of which the utmost care must be taken. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare and proofread departmental letters, quotations, memorandums, call summary reports, quarterly reports, departmental reports, proposals, presentations, budgets, management goals, etc. Double check calculations where necessary. Screen telephone calls appropriately. Keep a log of the sales and service representatives calls, letters, quotes, and call reports. End to end handling of marketing events hosted by the Company or where the Company participates. This includes identifying vendors for various tasks, coordinating with Sales Team and HO team to finalize various advertising material, etc. Manage corporate calendar for company and Managing Director. Keep track of departmental vacations. Delegate work as required. Support Senior Management team as and when required. Participate in various Corporate Development projects as defined. Produces and maintains financial statistical statements for reporting periods including monthly and quarterly distributions. Prepares travel arrangements for senior management and company guests. Coordinates hotel, air and ground travel. Provides back-up support to other department assistants. Participate in various market and internet based research projects as defined. Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed. Qualifications: Requires at least 3-5 years of administrative support experience. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be proficient with English language and grammar. Must be proficient with MS Office applications and other software as needed. Must be willing and able to work in a fast paced environment. Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to organize and prioritize work multi-task; and consistently meet deadlines. Able to work with minimal supervision.
