Centre for Cellular And Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) is an initiative of Dept of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, with a mandate to be an enabler of cutting edge Life Science Research and Innovation. C-CAMP is also a member of the Bangalore Life Sciences Cluster (BLiSC). We facilitate Bioscience Research and Entrepreneurship by providing Research, Development, Training and Services in state-of-the-art Technology Platforms. As a part C-CAMP's mandate of promoting entrepreneurship and innovation, C-CAMP has created and fostered an entrepreneur-friendly culture in and around Academic/Research environment through its involvement in Seed Funding Schemes for Startups, Entrepreneur Mentorship program and Bio-Incubation facility. At C-CAMP, we have established State-Of-The-Art Platform Technologies which are essential requirements for success and leadership in the field of Life Sciences. C-CAMP allows Investigators to use Techniques as tools and not be limited by Technological barriers while pursuing challenging scientific questions. Responsibilities: · Competency in multiple aspects of drug discovery with focus on designing and executing a variety of cell based and biochemical assays. · Proven track record in molecular techniques, including molecular cloning, cell culture, protein expression, purification, and characterization. · Proficient in biochemical and immunological assays (ELISA, SPR, WB, FACS, etc.). · Independent experimental design and execution, analytical problem-solving capabilities. · Ability to stay on top of the latest scientific research related to targeted protein degradation (TPD) field, with commitment to deep knowledge in project specific biology. · Prior experience with PROTACs and Molecular glues for protein degradation is preferred. Qualifications : · MS in biological sciences. · 0-10 years of laboratory experience in an academic or industrial setting. · Experience in molecular cloning and designing expression vectors. · Experience in protein expression, purification, and protein engineering. · Knowledge of mass spec and biophysical techniques to study protein structure and function. · Experience in assay development and HTS. · Knowledge of the PROTAC and ubiquitin proteasome pathway is desirable. · Ability to work in a highly entrepreneurial environment. · Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team.
